【কন্যাশ্রী প্রবন্ধ রচনা】 Kanyashree Prakalpa Essay/Paragraph Writing in Bengali (PDF)

The ‘Kanyashree’ project has started as a Chief Minister initiative to stop the trend of minor girls’ marriage.  The state government gives the ‘Kanyashree’ scholarship to the daughters of those family whose yearly income is less than 1 lakh 20 thousand. The name of the students is registered to scheme by the schools at class seven and eight. After eighteen years, the government will give the students a onetime 25 thousand or an annual 500 thousand for higher studies.

Now, the 'Kanyashree Prakalpa’ is taught from 4th to 8th grade and 11th grade. In 8th grade, Kanyashree Prakalpa paragraph writing is in the syllabus. According to the syllabus, the students have to write an essay on the ‘Kanyashree Prakalpo’ in the Bengali language. Besides essay and paragraph, ‘Kanyashree Poems’, stories of girls benefited from this project are also taught in the syllabus.

The project was honored by United Nations on a competition of 552 projects from 63 countries. The ‘Kanyashree’ project got the first position in that competition. After that, the state government proposed to the syllabus committee to include this project in the syllabus.

Kanyashree Project has been started in the year 2013 to promote girl’s education. And from the following year, 14 August is celebrated as ‘Kanyashree Day’ or ‘Kanyashree Diwas’.
